Medusa has spent her career protecting some of the most high-profile venues in the western U.S., including luxury casinos, major trade shows, high-stakes conferences, star-studded concerts, packed festivals, and nationally televised sporting events across Nevada and California. She proudly serves as the official K9 Ambassador for the International Casino & Resort Working Dog Association (ICRWDA), representing detection dogs worldwide in their mission to elevate tourism security. K9 Apollo is a male Black Labrador Retriever born on October 19, 2022, in Canada. Trained at Next Level K9 in Las Vegas, Apollo is a certified Explosives Detection Dog who is just beginning his career—but already turning heads.

Though new to the working world, Apollo is quickly making a name for himself with his eager attitude, sharp instincts, and undeniable drive. He’s proving that he’s not just here to learn—he’s here to compete, and he’s already giving seasoned K9s a run for their money.

Athena is a Belgian Malinois, German Shepherd mix, born on January 12, 2024, in Budapest, Hungary. She was imported to the United States and completed her detection training at Next Level K9 in Las Vegas before joining Pinnacle Protection Group, where she found her forever home and career.

As a single purpose detection dog, Athena approaches her work with unmatched seriousness and drive. Known as a true detection machine, she thrives on the reward of her favorite toy, a Kong on a rope, and demonstrates exceptional focus during searches.

When off duty, Athena enjoys playing in any water she can find, showing the same enthusiasm she brings to her work.

Artemis is a German Shorthaired Pointer, born on June 12, 2023, in Budapest, Hungary. She was imported to the United States and completed her detection training at Next Level K9 in Las Vegas before joining Pinnacle Protection Group, where she found her forever home and career.

The smallest member of our K9 team, Artemis is full of energy and personality. Known as our spark plug, she brings enthusiasm to every task and keeps a smile on the faces of handlers and guests alike. She is especially famous for the playful howl she lets out after earning her favorite toy during training exercises.

K9 Nova is a 3.5-year-old female Belgian Malinois and a highly trained single-purpose Explosives Detection Dog. Sweet, social, and endlessly driven, Nova brings both professionalism and personality to every job she takes on.

She was purchased from Tim Adams at Next Level K9 in Las Vegas and has been working alongside her handler for the past 17 months. Together, they’ve secured high-profile assignments in New York, Tennessee, Washington, Nevada, and California—proving that Nova is as adaptable as she is skilled.

While she’s laser-focused on the job, Nova is all heart at home. She loves hiking, wrestling with her big brother Obi (a 90 lb black German Shepherd), and proudly carrying around her favorite round toys—especially balls, which she’ll happily tote around all day long.

K9 Nova is the perfect blend of dedication, heart, and high energy—a true working dog with a zest for life.

K9 Cypher is a 4-year-old German Shepherd and proud graduate of both the ICRWDA and DrugBeat K9 certification programs in Explosives Detection, officially certified since 2024.

Cypher is a familiar face at NBA and NHL games, where she’s not only a trusted part of the security team but also a fan favorite. She also regularly works concerts and large-scale festivals, thriving in high-energy environments with confidence and control.

K9 Syn is a Labrador Retriever with an incredible journey—from shelter rescue to certified Explosives Detection Dog, holding certifications through both ICRWDA and DrugBeat.

Her story is one of transformation and purpose. Rescued from a shelter, Syn underwent rigorous training and quickly proved she had the focus, drive, and determination to thrive in the demanding world of K9 detection. Certified by ICRWDA and DrugBeat, K9 Lulu specializes in detection operations at schools, rehabilitation centers, transitional housing facilities, and live event venues. Intelligent and adaptable, she excels in diverse environments. Lulu is the sister of K9 Rip.

Riggs is a 3yr old Shepherd x Malinois mix from Hungary. He enjoys going on runs and working for his favorite glow-in-the dark ball on a rope. Aside from keeping the public safe, he truly enjoys a good belly scratch.

Calafia is a Belgian Malinois, born on November 28, 2020, in Phoenix, Arizona. Her mother was adopted from a local animal shelter, and to everyone’s surprise, she gave birth to a litter of puppies shortly after. Calafia was adopted as a puppy by her handler, Billie Austin, and was trained by ICRWDA Master Trainer Ryan Millbern for single-purpose detection work.

When she’s not working, Calafia loves playing fetch, wrestling with her sister Hozhoni, and rolling in the grass every chance she gets. Her favorite toy is a ball, and nothing makes her happier than chasing it down.
