🚸 WATCH FOR SCHOOL ZONES

🐢 Slow Down!
Always obey the posted speed limit in school zones. Give yourself extra time so you aren't tempted to speed or rush.

👀 Watch for Children
Children may cross streets unexpectedly or be distracted while walking or riding bikes. Stay alert and keep your eyes on the road.

🛑 Stop for School Buses
When a school bus is stopped with its red lights flashing and stop arm extended, stop and remain stopped as required by law.

📵 Phones Down, Eyes Up
Avoid texting or using your phone while driving. A few seconds of distraction can make a big difference.

🚗 Follow Drop-Off & Pick-Up Rules
Use designated areas, follow traffic patterns, and never block crosswalks, fire lanes, or emergency access areas.

🚶 Give Pedestrians the Right of Way
Slow down near crosswalks and intersections and be prepared for children and families crossing the street.
