🔥 JULY SAFETY TIPS — Stay Cool & Stay Safe

As temperatures soar, it's important to prioritize safety for yourself, your family, and your community. Here are a few essential summer safety tips:

1. Hydration is Key 💧

Drink plenty of water throughout the day — even if you don’t feel thirsty. Dehydration can sneak up fast in the heat.

2. Heat Awareness ☀️

Avoid strenuous outdoor activities during peak sun hours (10 AM - 4 PM). Know the signs of heatstroke: dizziness, nausea, and confusion.

3. Firework Safety 🎆

Only use legal fireworks, follow all instructions, and never allow young children to handle them. Always keep a water source nearby.

4. Be Vigilant at Pools & Beaches 🏖️

Never leave children unattended around water, and ensure lifeguards are present when possible.

5. Lock Up & Light Up 🏠

Remember to lock your doors, windows, and vehicles. Keep your property well-lit at night to deter trespassers and suspicious activity.

Our K-9 Unit is officially open for business, and the team is led by none other than Medusa, now commanding a full squad!

Joining her are her sisters Athena and Artemis, and her brother Apollo. This elite four-legged team is trained, trusted, and ready to bring unmatched protection and detection skills to every assignment.

Whether it’s patrol operations, special assignments, or public demonstrations, our K-9s are an integral part of ensuring safety in the communities we serve.
